Location

CBC Fremantle is located in the heart of the historic port city of Fremantle, Western Australia within walking distance of the train station and major bus routes.

Approaching the main entrance from Ellen Street is like stepping back in time to the days of Federation, with large Bauhinia trees decorated with delicate orchid-like flowers framing the limestone heritage listed buildings. Behind the stately facade, however, the College reveals modern facilities with a large gymnasium, exceptional IT infrastructure, well equipped Design and Technology workshops, spacious classrooms and a dynamic library.

On the southern side of the campus is the College's original building, Edmund Hall, which was built in 1882. To the west of Edmund Hall, the College gymnasium is easily distinguished by the commemorative bronze sculpture of a young man scaling the building, made by local artist Greg James.

CBC Fremantle has direct access to the City of Fremantle's excellent sporting facilities on Ellen Street and the adjacent swimming pools, and is just down the road from the city's cultural hub at the Fremantle Arts Centre.
